Categories and Eligibility

There are eight award categories to choose from, all of which have individual criteria and should satisfy the core eligibility rules below. Please click on the relevant icon opposite to read the specific criteria before deciding which award to enter.

Eligibility

• Entries must consist of work primarily carried out between August 2008 and June 2009, with the exception of the Best Communications Team award. We know that outstanding teams take time to develop, so for this category only you may submit examples covering work completed during the last three years.

• Each project may be entered for a maximum of two categories.

• Entry is open to bona fide individuals who are working for the NHS and have a direct current employment contract with the NHS.

• Previous winners may enter again as long as their work is significantly different to last year.

• Entries must be submitted in the form stated in the entry instructions.
